Safeguarding and Welfare at Perform Academy Tristars
As teachers and coaches, we at Perform truly understand the high importance of safeguarding and child protection requirement within sport and the wider environment we work within.

Perform Academy Tristars conform to the BTF policy and guidelines which can be found here.

We are delighted to have achieved the British Triathlon Bronze Trimark. This is a sign of our high level of training within safeguarding and child protection. All coaches receive regular training and updates which is a key requirement to receive this award. All coaches carry Enhanced DBS checks and first aid or pool safety awards too.

To keep our children safe when training with us, we may ask parents to move or leave an area - particularly when changing. We are not being awkward so please respect our decision if this is asked of you.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please speak to James (Head Coach) who is our Safeguarding Lead.
